[LIVE] The Sentinel's Marvellous Kaleidoscope Presents: The First Expedition

Greetings human_people and good sentries! The SMK has been your constellatory radio program of progressive, fusion and alternative music, situating its observational tower at CFRU 93.3 FM in Guelph for approximately 2.5 years now. It has always looked inward and beyond from behind the radio transmission soundboard from this local campus / community station (except for the few off-location broadcasts of course).

HOWEVER, it is now time to take a chance, be confident and brave, and step out of the tower to venture into the ever-changing horizon for the SMK's inaugural concert curation! That is correct! Under the SMK's new live counterpart, I will be booking, organizing and hosting live DIY music events, bringing together eclectic artists to perform together, in the same spirit as the radio program. Here is the SMK's first concert, featuring Toronto fantasy indie rock band Gelax, Guelph alternative punk female duo seawater + rose, AND two of Splendid Industries' newest additions to the human_family: dream jazz chambercore string duo standpartners, and post-progressive ambient avant-garde effected bass clarinetist Piers Oolvai... that's me!
